I THINK the government can and must do more to educate people on proper waste disposal and recycling.
Some places in the Philippines are observed to be a giant trash pit and because of individual habit and the “don’t care” attitude, more money is being used when calamities such as floods come. Furthermore, it’s a huge health issue which concerns everyone and costs the government millions.
Educate! Educate! Educate! Educate the masses. Provide social (barangay) seminars in all levels of society.

OMG. GMA must be (again) blame on this responsibility.
Our lovely senators who cannot do anything right. Maybe this one is a good start. Since the trust of the pinoy’s no longer there for you. time to kick off some things for the next election. Try cleaning up the rivers di ba? Clean yourself muna before cleaning someone else’s river.

Di obra and educate, educate, educate. Creeks and rivers dicernibly used as trash depositories should be fenced with very high storm wire links. Simple.

I agree with you 100% But I think filipino people are more interested to learn on how to become the biggest crooks and get away with it. Just like whats going on right now. You can try to educated people but the people can’t learn anything if their leader is not teaching them the right thing. Amen:
