Dead rivers in RP

I THINK the government can and must do more to educate people on proper waste disposal and recycling.

Some places in the Philippines are observed to be a giant trash pit and because of individual habit and the “don’t care” attitude, more money is being used when calamities such as floods come. Furthermore, it’s a huge health issue which concerns everyone and costs the government millions.

Educate! Educate! Educate! Educate the masses. Provide social (barangay) seminars in all levels of society.

“in japan, people segregate their trashes. they know where to put the recyclable to non-recyclable trash.”

Like politicians, too. Know thy politicians. Know which ones are recyclable. Know which ones have been recycled many times over. And know which ones are “non-recyclable trash.”

    Interestingly,

    “they obey traffic regulations etc.”

Which goes without saying that one should not speed one’s way to the presidency by “Garcifying” it lest one be chased by the haunting fear of easily losing what one easily gained, one that simply refuses to die.

    you’re absolutely right !!!

The subject must be change to “Rivers of Politics”. Does Gloria et-al pee or threw their feces out of the rivers? I think people in this forum are “disciplined citizens of the Philippines”, so why not do our shares and be a model citizen of our own respective communities, instead of throwing all invectives, oh boy, dead rivers get more polluted.
