NAPAKAARTE talaga nating mga Pinoy.

Is it not already a given that these three co-equal bodies of the government should be working together for the good of the people? Pinag-aralan na namin ito noong araw sa elementarya, ah! Ang hilig kasi natin sa photo ops at pa-pogi points kaya hangang front page na lang ang accomplishments ng Pinoy!

HM, King Anthony S. Martin was our last hope and he must release our funds because we heard that GMA will go to Hagonoy in order to monitor only HM, King Anthony S. Martin.

Some greedy foreign people are on eye to these wealth we luckily claimed and they won’t be able to award these wealth they aspired to Claim and Redeem because all Prime Banks worldwide were launched a single memo against these Wealth not to give these money and its information that legally inherited and intended for the benefit of the Filipino People. HM, King Anthony Santiago Martin was been blamed by these greedy and wicked people who hold Authoritative Title and Underground Personnel were united to cease this info that must all Filipino People be read. And remind you, we discovered that we have US$ 0 credit in the World Bank Group because WB and IMF was been used these Filipino People’s Money to grant loan to the countries and HM was been paid US$ 110 B credit to the World Bank since year 2005 as per relayed information given to us by our allies in World Bank Resident Mission Office in Pasig City.

I sought more good news to the Filipino People if they’re aware to HM, King Anthony S. Martin. Pres. Gloria Macapagal - Arroyo wanted us to take him into our custody.

What about the persons defamed by these journalists? What would their recourse be? If someone wrote something false and defamatory about you, wouldn’t you what to hold those people responsible? If there is no libel law, how would you redeem your reputation? Not having an avenue to do so would be injustice. Journalists should always be held accountable for their false reports fueled by bad faith or malice

I know from newspapers that Villaraza used to be the lawyer of the president. BUT, how is he a public figure? I hear his name but never sees his face in print or on tv.

No, that is not given. Of course, all should work for the good of the people (that elected them) but what is good for the people?
If one body, or members of it, does, plans or tr to implement somethin which another body sees as something wrong, selfserving orsraioght criminal, should this body just remain quiet and “work together”?
That is the problem now between Malacanag, Supreme Court and the Senate, partly the Congress, too.

The hectic pushing for changing to an un icameral governmentfuels the fear that this mainly should remove the Senate so that there is no more watchdog with independent powers. In an unicameral system, the ruling party can block and overrule any iunvestigation by opposition members, contrary to now where still the Senate can investigate. Where are unicameral systems? Just look to all that are called dictatorial governments, there one party rules all, no matter it is political, military or religious. Practically all really democratic governments have some kind of two chambers, Congress and Senate, Upper and Lower House etc. And only there it is possible that leaders or high officials can be removed without to stage a revolution. RP does not belong to these democracies yet or not anymore. A government which just blocks any and all investigations by Executive Orders is not democratic, since democracy means rule of the people, not by a total militarized government that has the priority to protect themselves and their stay in power.

Most Americans telephone while driving. Oh, really??? Who cares!!! Do the people on Smokey Mountain telephone while they are picking through garbage? How about our Asian neighbors? Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Korea, China and Taiwan in particular. I bet they telephone while driving also. But the point is, how did they get to be so successful as to have cars and cell phones? Are you the least bit curious as to how they suceeded? If only getting in front of a camera or behind a mic would make Filipinos prosperous. It doesn’t. It takes hard work and values that are lacking in the Philippines.

    Harry King Says:

The problem with our three branches of government is that each of them tries to focus on checking the other. Majority of the problems on disunity and obstruction of national progress comes from the Congress which is empowered to call, at will, for investigations in aid of legislation.

A weak executive can easily succumb to the pressure and harassment from the opposition legislative camp while a strong executive can be accused of all the high crimes under the sun.

The congress is made up of two houses which most of the time does not even agree among themselves and each house is compose of different political representatives. It is doubtful if people like Alan Cayetano et al know the true meaning of national unity.

The judiciary is the most passive branch of the government, it goes into motion when legal issues are being contested otherwise it is just a spectator. The justices of the Supreme Court, also, are appointees of different executives and it usually takes time for them to arrive at a consensus.

So, where can we find true unity and cooperation - the meeting point of the minds? Maybe only in case of a foreign invasion or war because even the imminent food crisis did not deter the opposition from blaming everybody except themselves for the food shortage; who knows, even in war some might still turn traitors and collaborators just to put one over their political opponents.

A tripartite consultative body such as JELAC can move the country faster forward and should be welcomed by all. Why not give true democracy a chance?

In order for him to have a forum if the Supreme Court will decide against his and the opposition senators favor.

It is their way of levelling the SC.

We dont have three co-equal branches of the government. Nunca. One steals, the other checks if theres still money left for itself, the third decides which one to ally to get a share. They all the the same primary function.

Free trade agreements, like JPEPA, is a modern day war for economic supremacy and subjugation. The weak and corrupt countries being targeted as resource (human, food, minerals, petroleum) with the latter (Phil) integrated to serve the highly industrialized country (Japan). China and Japan are both racing in capturing these Phil resources with China under Asean China FTA while Japan employed two pronged approach, which is through an EPA (economic partnership agreement) with individual Asean country and also through Asean Japan Comprehensive Economic Partnership. If you think that Phils will become an industrialized country in the next 20 years, as peddled by gma, forget about it. The truth is that most of Phil manufacturing sectors are slowly dying due to global trade. Our local producers cant compete with other countries because of high power costs (second highest in Asia), poor infrastructure, corruption costs (from barangay to malacanang), etc.
I agree. JPEPA is a modern day war for economic supremacy and subjugation. And greed is allowing this to continue. The best for all of us to do, at least those who understand, is to keep on fighting in whatever way possible to inform and to keep the discussion and debates alive. Other ASEAN country governments are helping their people to become strong entrepreneurs through training, information, and subsidy programs, while in the Phil. our people must do it all alone and sometimes they even become victims of unscrupulous bureaucrats of the government.
