I quote what Nasser Pangandam Sr. said: “They should be sensitive to the feelings of others, the past few days have been very painful for us.” Look who is talking. Was he sensitive to the feelings of de la Paz and family when his son and his son’s bodyguards mauled Mr. de la Paz and his 14-year-old son despite of the pleadings of the 14 year old teen? Mr. Pangandaman is talking as if his son and his son’s bodyguards were the ones mauled by Mr. de la Paz and his 14-year-old son…tell that to the marines. The best thing you can do and your son is to resign as a secretary and your hot headed son as Mayor. If your son can do that in a prestigious club, then for sure in his town where he is a mayor he must be acting as if he is the god. All the readers’ guess is as good as mine.

I am so proud and glad that there honest,competent,faithful people who still do their job well in the government,im referring to the likes of marine major marcelino,the pdea operative who divulge the suposed bribery in the case against the alabang boys,the drug user and pusher they arrested,and all the shame and the filt to all those involve in the controversy.Dnt those people involved dont have any shame at all??,my!,you should be thinking about the future of our son’s and of our nation!!!

Shame on De La Paz, beating up a Mayor and his goons! Look what happen to the Mayor and seceretary Pangandam, i bet they’re having nightmares right now. This 14 year old (barely in highschool) and his Dad together with his sister who’s 18, had the gall mauling a helpless,27 year old heavyweight guy and his 4 thugs(who are probably bigger than the mayor himself). You cannot just beat somebody up just because he has goons with high powered caliber guns. That’s not right. I urge mayor Pangandaman to pursue this in court, let the whole world know how you got beat up by a 14 year old boy. How an 18 year old girl and her 56 year old dad did a crouching-tiger-like martial art, armed only with an umbrella to subdued your goons. Umbrella can be very dangerous. I’ve seen Rhiana played with it and she became a good-girl-gone-bad, but that’s another story. We the bloggers support you Mayor Pangandam, we will never surrender. We will be with you always, like monkey on a tree - ngayon kilala na namin kayo.

No wonder our country is going to the dogs. People would immediately jump into conclusion after reading a slanted column or self serving blogs.
I suggest that Mr. Magtanggol first find out both sides of the incident before making sweeping accusations. I don’t take sides between the two protagonists but obviously, from later accounts of people who were witnesses to the so called mauling incident, the De la Pazes were not innocent as pictures.
It’s easy to heap scorn at people at a drop of a hot but it makes me retch reading opinions of people who pretends to know so much by just mere reading inaccurate reports.
Don’t be too judgmental brother. I am an OFW also from Saudi. Always remember, in every issue, there are always two sides: the truth and the untruth. One cannot get into the truth if one relies on pure hearsays.
