WE, the founding members and leaders of Kaya Natin! a national movement that promotes good governance and ethical leadership, condemn in the strongest possible terms the unlawful and inappropriate actions of rallyists and policemen of the province of Pampanga towards the Office of the Governor last January 5, 2009. We believe that such behavior not only disrespects their governor, the Hon. Eddie Panlilio, and the people of Pampanga, but also unnecessarily endangers the lives of many innocent people.

We are saddened and very disappointed in these turn of events, as the people responsible for upholding the law did nothing while the duly constituted authorities of the province were unjustly threatened. This inaction betrays the partisan manner by which laws are enforced in the locality and contrary to the precepts of good governance.

We support Governor Panlilio in his call to correct the injustice done. While we recognize the freedom of everyone to peaceably express their views, it must be within the bounds of decency and the rule of law. We appeal to the rallyists not to take the law in their hands and accord due respect to the elected leaders of Pampanga. We appeal to the Sanggunian Panlalawigan to set aside partisan considerations and protect the institutions of government in the province. We appeal to the Pampanga Provincial Command to just simply do their duty and enforce the law. The task of policing should be beyond political considerations.

We also support Gov. Panlilio in his petition to the DILG Secretary, the Chief PNP, and the NAPOLCOM for the relief of Col. Singian, Col. Medina, and their men. They have miserably failed in their responsibility in performing their duties, which endangered the lives of a number of people, including the Governor himself.

Finally, we also appeal to the people of Pampanga to protect the gains of the recent past, advocate good governance, and support Gov. Panlilio in his campaign for accountability and transparency in Pampanga. The Kapampangans deserve more from their public servants than what has been shown in the last few months. The future of Pampanga is in your hands. The kind of Pampanga we will have, is the kind of Pampanga you will make

We the filipinos all around the world and at home, knows full well, that our country is in this dire, if not stagnant point ..though different from what the present leader claim,we are all experiencing and witnessing the never ending tailspin of the country’s economy, the rampant corruption, crime at an all time high, and our people literally dying from hunger and decease…Good governance will not do the job alone, with the never attacks from the Islamic militants and the NPA’s never ending war on democracy..how long will this last befoore everything caves in…All those are the basic ingredients for revolution and or martial law…GLORIA ARROYO is and will be the worst criminal our country has ever encountered-and local leaders like GOV. PANLILIO will not stand a chance…with all that..i am requesting the people to look at all the angles, the pros. and cons of what, and why should this accusation against this GOVERNOR, whatever that may be- should be given merit, one must have a very well undrstanding of whats behind all this -”WELL INFORMED DECISIONS” are what one needs to agree on any issue–With all that is happening and with the people that are in power..this is what i can say…There is a whole lot of us that do understand the technicalities that was and is being done to our system of government,We understand the diabolical process of what it is that they are trying to achieved–but understand this…nothing good will come out of it..and in the end-the moral right and the humanitarian ways of GOOD GOVERNANCE will always persist….and the GOOD will always comeout, the wrong will be corrected, and whats on the bottom will comeout on top….GOVERNOR PANLILIO…DO what you think is right and just..for no matter how much fear they try to inflict…it is the fear in them and the fear in itself –that will come out to save the day….MAY GOD BLESS THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES

We, the Filipinos in the United States and overseas, hereby condemn in the strongest term the contemptible attack on the office of Governor Eddie Panlilio of Pampanga. This wanton act of savagery and blatant disregard for law and order by the perpetrators, ineptitude of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, the gross dereliction of duty and incompetence of Col. Keith Singian, Col. Medina, San Fernando’s Chief of Police and their men, for their politically-motivated refusal and failure to protect the office of the Governor, and the lack of appropriate and prompt response from Malacanang to protect the seat of government in Pampanga (obviously because Governor Panlilio is in the opposition and waging a war for good governance) are all a symptomatic reflection of a brutally corrupt and callous national government.

We, the Filipino people and expatriates, who love our homeland, call on Philippine President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo to uphold the country’s constitution and laws of the land, and act without delay, to protect Governor Ed Panlilio, his office and its staff, and the provincial seat of the government of Pampanga, and live up to the good name and great legacy of her late father, the late Philippine President Diosdado Macapagal.

President Gloria M. Arroyo has the legal responsibility and moral obligation to do no less.

If the governor is doing a very good job such untoward incident like that will not happen.

These are poor ordinary people of Pampanga who demonstrated their anger toward the governor.
Their show of protest and frustration is evident that there is something wrong in the leadership of the governor.
Ethical governance alone is not a gauge to good governance.
Strong leadership is a good trait of a good leader.
We don’t need a sympathetic like leader, a leader must show command and authority.

Simple protest of a few is not a cause for alarm. A leader is firm and strong to face this kind of action.
The governor just encountered a rain shower and you are concerned for his safety, much more if hurricane or super typhoon landed in the office of the governor.

Let’s face it, rally, protest and demonstration is part of governance and Panlilio is a governor and not a priest where his solace is the peace and serenity of the convent and church.

He is in open space to face the reality of life.
    Panlilio is a governor.

No wonder Filipino people have little respect for our “Men in Uniform”. If they can’t protect the “Office of the Governor”, what more the people in our community?

Funny or ironic? Hay! No wonder criminals make our “Men in Uniform” a laughing stock.

I pity the entire PNP including AFP, because of some “Rotten Tomatoes” your organizations stinks.

Sampolan na yan sir PNP Chief para di sila tularan at pamarisan.
