I could not symphatize with Katrina more so with Hayden, they both need psychological evaluation for everything that had happened. Why are we focusing all our attention on these two? The ones who stole these video files from the doctor’s computer and uploaded it in the net should be the ones grilled here. Katrina Halili is no saint and deserves no sympathy. Why was she with Hayden Kho in the first place? As for Hayden, he’s one sick pervert and should face the consequence. In Philippine criminal law, adulterous women are much more heavily penalized than men, whose crime would be just concubinage. But after learning of most peoples reactions to this ‘Hayden cam,’ I feel the archaic division of adultery for women, and concubinage for men suits our macho chauvinist masochistic society just fine.

No matter how morally upright the upbringing or the culture, there will always be a persistently, charismatic individual who may not have the best intentions.. so let this issue be a precedent that makes a change.. or just some event that screws with the minds of future generations.

Now look where she has been taken by that illicit affair. “Digital ang karma” as they say. What bothers me is how politicians take advantage on this issue for exposure for the upcoming election. This is not the first video that contains such “very personal” acquaintance, some women on those videos were even minors. Why is it just now that they take action on this? Is it because the person on that video is a celebrity and by helping out a famous person would earn points for their campaign? Why is it just now? Besides, they should not just dwell on how Hayden Kho can be such a pervert, he was not the one who uploaded it in the internet anyway. I didn’t expect the politicians to have such “kababaw” na common sense to focus on that issue. Compared to Filipinos who still live in the squatter’s area or in the street, those who doesn’t eat thrice a day or doesn’t even eat at all, for children who doesn’t have any means to go to school, or for graduates who still doesn’t have work, this issue is just a MOLE on the SCAR caused by politicians who does not have the capacity to serve, really serve the country.

It is pretty obvious that Ms. Katrina Halili is getting back on them and by doing such, Hayden is open to the reigns of the medical board. but I doubt revocation. Perhaps a suspension is much closer. This issue of stripping Hayden Kho of his Licence is not new. Its publicity.
As what is mentioned in the Law of Violence against woman and children, taking a video of having sex, between two partners, is not a crime under that Act. Morally Hayden and Katrina committed a mistake. In which Dr. Hayden regrets. hitting below the belt, as what Ms halili believes and is doing, wont cleanse her name from this scandal. A Law must be passed first that will cover such morally wrong doing to protect woman, man or anyone, be it a member of the third sex, from publication of similar, without consent, materials. I think the real issue here isn’t about making sex videos but about morality itself. Our society has become too complacent, too tolerant. During the prestigious schools scandal times, as far as I can remember, politicians were also involved in some investigations but until now, NO LAW was ever implemented. And now because Katrina Halili was involved and she will become the first victim that will receive justice because she’s a known TV personality!? IT’S UNFAIR to those previous victims. 1. Attracting the super-rich money
Being a Cojuangco, an elite political family similar to the Kennedys of the US, he would surely attract the support of the super-rich. This is not to say that he is also smart if not smarter than Noynoy
Stop kidding ourselves that the mainstream or the middle class can match the money of the rich. Look at Obama: his 700 million $ campaign funds, 80 % came from the rich and 20% from the internet-based middle class. The mainstream still follows the flow of money: money begets more money.
2. Military and police support
This is no brainier. Gibo, being the DND chief, would likely gets the above support. As Enrile said these groups are the “most organized” and Garci would say that the “use of their personnel and vehicles” would do wonder to “winning ” an election. I won’t go into that but all things being equal these groups won’t allow Gibo being robbed off of victory.
3. Like his cousin Noynoy, Gibo is untainted and as white as the wind-driven snow. I don’t know for how long when he (or Noynoy) gets to be the president. You could say the same thing to all the past presidents: Cory, FVR, ERAP, and Gloria.They were all decent persons to begin with but gave us the same rotten government. Think of the Kamag-anak inc., did to Cory as Amare deal to FVR; as jueteng payola to ERAP and as raping the constitution (among the many) to Gloria.

Gibo would win because the alternative is Noynoy who is the same cut as he.

If Cory had no accomplishment before she became president, it was understandable since she was not a political figure then, but for Noynoy to have no accomplishments for her many years of being a public servant-congressman and senator, is totally unacceptable. At least a candidate for presidency have a track record of accomplishment as a government official, or a least, he had a cause he fought and stood for, etc. I’ve never heard of these in Noynoy. It’s sad,that he had no record of having made a difference to our country. However, he is simple, moral, and open to dialogue.
